Introduction

The Australian Flying Corps and Royal Australian Air Force Association is an Australia wide body comprising a National Council and a Federation of State based Divisions. The Association is known by the short title of RAAF Association and can be abbreviated to 'RAAFA". This is pronounced as 'RAAF eh' not RAAFuh'.

The aim of the RAAF Association is to foster the spirit of friendship formed on service and to perpetuate the honour and ideals of the Royal Australian Air Force and other designated services.

The National Council comprises the members of the National Executive and the President of each Division. The office of the National Headquarters is situated in the Australian Capitol Territory.
