Bomber Command Ceremony

On Sunday, June 3rd, a service commemorating the men of World War Two Bomber Command was conducted at the Memorial Garden RAAF Amberley. The service was organised by Branch President Ted Vowles, and members of the Queensland University Branch of the Queensland Division, RAAF Association. This is the third year that the ceremony jas been held on behalf of Bomber Command and the day re-inforces the recognition of the outstanding effort and contribution made by the members of Bomber Command in furthering the successful outcome of World War Two. This year we also saw a contingent of Bomber Command Veterans travel to London for the unveiling of a memorial to Bomber Command.
